If you could pick any instrument to play (or you already play) what would it be? And who/what was your inspiration?

I used to play the cello in grade school. But due to riding the bus I got picked on because I had to bring it home, and carry on the bus. Eventually I settled for the violin instead, and though I find the violin a beautiful instrument (especially now with Lindsey Stirling out there) I still regret settling for such a dumb reason.

I play the piano first, but plan to pick up the cello again soon. What's yours?

Love to learn to play the guitar ... The Eagles music (Glenn Frey in particular) is the inspiration.

Banjo. I got tired of not playing an instrument so I got a Deering Goodtime and started working on my picking and licks.

    WHAT FUN!

    Trumpet/cornet/flugelhorn: Chet Baker, Miles Davis.

Took piano lessons as a child (practically at gunpoint...).

Currently play the guitar (with harmonica). Also play the didgeridoo (good for the lungs and OOBE's).

AWESOME! I always wanted to play the harmonica if I ever went to prison. Never made it though... yet. Miles Davis good stuff. And I would attempt at a didgeridoo just due to the name didgeridoo. I think that name is highly under-rated... :-)

I had a similiar experience in grade school/jr. high..every band dork gets picked on, the only difference is that I threatened to shove my instrument up their *****. I played the trumpet and the french horn. I want to learn how to play the guitar just so I can play 'Maggot Brain' by Funkadelic..it's on my bucket list. That's my inspiration: Funkadelic (George Clinton), Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Eric Clapton. :)

Question: "How do you play a french horn?" Answer: "Just stick your hand in the bell and play a bunch of wrong notes...."

it came easily to me until I was given direction, then I was all rebellion... I don't like authority figures it turns out when it comes to art of expression. Well, unless they're attractive haha.

Cello is beautiful. I would probably pick guitar, since I am a songwriter, and use the piano for that. I could become more versatile if I could use the guitar too. my fingers are a bit too "thick" i think.
