Thou shalt not steal should refer to stealing objects, life, the truth (not lying), and love. That way we don't have to break down stealing into several different commandments. Then, the commandments would focus on thinking for yourself, rather than focusing on God's word. I know that seems a little contradictory, as I am making commandments but telling you to think for yourself, but I think it is important.

3thy shall not poop where thy eats.. 4 thy shall not blame all sin on women
5thy shall not use the word thy.. 6thy shall not make plants illegle
7thy shall not believe everthing thy reads.. 8 thy shall not feed the bears
9thy shall not hate the mulder.. 10 thy shall take a bath

I'd change the 'you shall only have one god' to 'you shall have religious freedom'.
Then add some basic juridical jargon like 'Jus de non evocando' and 'Nulla poena sine praevia lege'.
