If you had a choice would you get your' kids fixed until they turned 18?
It sounds like a crazy idea, but it just might work!

No. If parents don't educate their children well enough or if kids are stupid enough to still have unprotected sex even though they -know- the consequences, then these are the consequences people must live with.

There -are- things like abortion too, yanno. Even though whole tribes disagree with that being a valid way out, I don't think it's a very stupid thing to do in some cases. Not more stupid then being 13 (with all due respect for the above poster, heh) and delivering a child.

Hell yeah I have a daughter and I pray every day she doesn't make the same mistake I make I was 13 when I got pregnant I want her to have a chance to experience life in other ways and same with my 3 boys I want them to be ready and experience life.

If this was available to parents in the past I really doubt that most of us would be here today.

Not necessary if you raise them with Self worth, Self respect and Self esteem. Be as honest with them as you can about the subject. My daughter is a beautiful smart confident independent talented girl, a freshman in College and still a Virgin. Thank God!! I do give myself a Pat on the Back for that one every once in a while. I told her to wait until she wentoff to College and it seems that she's just waiting for the right guy. I am very proud of Her!

hell yeah... look i started when i was 16 and to this day i wish i had waited..no sad story here..no abortion..or std's... i grew up went to college and got married..all in all normal..but i look back and think those two years would have made a difference... I became more independent, I became far more comfortable with my body..got to know it sort of speak..in addition, for males..well i think they start to realise how much more fun it is when you're attentive to both partners needs...
so yeah i'd lock that chastity belt up till they were 18...

Haven't we all heard the horror stories of kids who are repressed by their parents and one day realize they can do whatever they want?? I would bet just about any child who was "fixed" by their parents like this would end up with a kid at 18.

This method is like feeding a man a fish when he really needs to be taught to fish on his own.
