If you had to cook a dish that best represented your fondest childhood memory, what would you cook up?

I'd bbq chops and snags and possibly prawns (I'm not sure how dad and/or my uncles cooked them on those days). They'd be black and greasy (the way bbq's should be). There'd be a couple of different salads and lots of bread and butter.

A roast chicken, salad, roast potatoes and gravy

My Gran always over cooked the vegetables, still does, so we have a back up salad just in case

Not many fond childhood memories really, but I've found warm thick pumpkin soup is therapeutic.
