I don't think so unless you can come up with ways to deal with it. Even then, I don't think your depression ever completely goes away until your situation changes.

I think you already know the answer to that one. Hint: It's the same as continuing to use credit-cards and wondering why you're still in debt. Someone once told me: "You're situation won't change until YOU do!". Guess what? I did something about it and I'm in a much better situation than I was in years ago. ~I hope that helps. Depends on what the situation is, but it would seem like yes. Especially in an abusive or endless excessive stress type situation. Toxic is toxic.

I think it depends. If its a situation is unchangable<br />
by making small changes that make you happy may help a bit.:) <br />
But if NOTHING changes that is making you miserable then yes.<br />

Simple things in life can be extremly helpful and dont cost much<br />
Making a list of things that are pleasurable for you and taking a moment to injoy them helps me!<br />
example: I LOVE the smell of apple cider, a warm bath and a good book<br />
i may not like where i live, and that situation is so far not changing... but a small change like injoying things i DO have control over makes it easyier and less depressive :D
