I don't. I go and get dressed for bed and have my husband get rid of his parents.

well you could stand up and start picking up the coffee cups/glasses and taking them to the sink. If the don't get the hint start washing them. If they still don't get the hint say well I'd better see you out to the car 'NOW'

or just stay seated and close your eyes and pretend to be asleep

Sometimes you just have to tell them it's time to go, you need your rest.

Get out a really big photo album full of pics of people they don't know, or start a monologue about the most boring subject you can think of. Or tell them you're off to bed but they can have the sofa if they want to stay any later.

Start yawning a lot. Look at watch and say, "oh, look at the time! Guys, I think I need to call it a night. It's been great seeing you again!"

Bore the hell out of them. Or make them nervous. Conveniently run out of alcohol and pot. Say, I'm going to bed now you can let yourself out(if you don't care if they sleep on the couch).

I wish we could stay up and visit longer…It really has been nice having you over tonight, but we have a very early morning…..

Then set up a day and time to visit them at their home…..

For some reason, when they know they will be returning the favor and they would not want you staying till all hours, they are much more understanding about call it a night…..lol
