I live in the woods with no other houses close by so I have to check if it's close enough for me to hear it. lol

Princess -- several times during my life, I have had things happen in my neighbor to which I responded. Twice I actually stopped the attempted rape in progress of a neighbor. The first time, simply by coming out the door and turning on the front light. The other time I actually chased the perp almost two miles before he outran me. I am in no way a nosy or interfering neighbor, but neither am I willing to hide behind a locked door while a friend and neighbor or his property is damaged or hurt. The first step always should be to call 911 to get the police moving. Usually I yell at my wife to call 911 while I arm myself and rush out to do what I can. The neighborhood I am in now is very quiet, but that has not always been the case.

No! Have you even seen a horror movie?
The person who goes and catches things out never comes back.
    I'm staying in.

I know I was only joking, however, I'd still probably stay in just in case.
