If you want to write a non fiction book, what is the process of trying to get it published?

Go to the library, get a writers guide from the librarian (you have to use it there in the library) The book will tell you all the publishers that publish books such as yours, their requirements and such. Submeit your work, it will be turned down, submit it to another, it will be turned down. Even after fifty times you receive a rejection notice keep submitting. Ernest Hemingway rewrote The Old Man and the Sea over a hundred times before It was published.

The crazy old man is right. And even if you do find a publisher, don't expect to get rich.

There is a great resource called Writer's Market 2009 --- look for it in the bookstore. It will give you all the guidelines you need to get published.
