If I were an actor, I sure would go to the funeral; he lost his life doing something he enjoyed, but he did it for you........I think it'd show lots of respect for him and the family would appreciate it, I'm sure.......it's the right thing to do!!

It would be uncomfortable, to be sure, to face the family of the man that "took the bullet for you". I would make some sort of private one on one contact with the family first, to assess their reaction, and then proceed from there.

Out of respect of the family I would goto his funeral. Whether or not we were close. (Kinda reminds me of the "The Twilight Zone/Vic Morrow" accident)
