If you were GOD, and your plan was for man to live forever in a perfect earth, would his sin make you give up?

No. It would be too much fun watching man try to cover up his sin, then make another, then another.

No. God turns away from those who rejoice in sin and smiles on those who seek redemption.

If I were god, I would come down to earth and BEG for man's forgiveness for being heartless, barbaric and cruel.

every body here are so dumb! you think for a second that you can do a better job then god if you where him?! he made every single thing so perfect! god is like a loving father, it's not possible never sining,learning from mistakes is a basic thing of life falling and making a mistake but getting up right away standing on your feet learning from mistakes and becoming better thats what your life is about, why whould you want a world with everybody like robots not learning from experinces? and as a father whoud you give up on a son that made a mistake? I hope not!

Time is an arrow, and it flows towards thus there is no such thing as perfection in all of creation. Sin is not just 'original' to man, it is a fundamental aspect of reality. Man just percieves the situation more acutely than his relatives. That being said, there's no need to be melodramatic about it. We did not mess up any 'plan'.

The Christian answer: When man sinned we prevented it from being a perfect earth.

My answer: You assume that living forever on a perfect earth is even possible. Yes, I know that the bible says it is. It also says that bats are a type of bird. You can't believe everything you read. ESPECIALLY from holy texts. ;) It is my opinion that we do live on a perfect earth.

Hell no. If I'm God and man sins and screws up the earth, I let him keep at it for a while to see just how happy he's gonna be doing it his way. Now after some years of screwing everything up (you knows he's gonna screw everything up because of his misbehaving (in paradise I might add) indicates that he's darn selfish and greedy and the point is made that he doesn't know what the heck he's doing. I mean, I created the earth and made man too, right, so I know what's best for 'em.

At any rate, after some time has past, I (God) point out that since man has screwed things up for so long, that now I'm gonna re-institute my paradise for those who want it, and the rest of you who don't can go back to the dust "from whence you came". Oh and there's gonna be one little reward for those who want to be in the paradise.....you never die. AND those who did die will be resurrected to see if they too want live in paradise.

Heard that from the Jehovah's Witnesses. Sounds right. Sounds reasonable. Never bought the heaven and hell thing myself. Doesn't make sense to me.

If I were God, I'd make a perfect human race that didn't "sin". And no "devil" to tempt you into sin.
Evil/sin is relative: from the cancer's point of view the surgeon is evil. The molten lava thinks water is evil. Some consider eating pork to be sinful, others do not. Each to their own, just stay TF away from MY stuff!

Yeah, it would. I don't give up easily, but one trip to EP and I'd be like, "You know what Devil, it's all yours!".

If there is a God, s/he made everything and left man to get on with it. S/he's too busy doing Godly things to care.
