I'd be like The Secret Millionaire. Hang out with poor people and figure out who could use the money. I wouldn't give it all to one person mind you. Spread the wealth!

(Okay, so I totally ripped this idea off of a Kleenex commercial.)

I would set up a couch on the street (in multiple cities), and ask people passing by, "A dollar for your thoughts?" You know--because of inflation, a penny just isn't enough anymore. :-)

I would then let them sit on the couch and spill their guts to me--their lives, their fears, their anxieties, their hopes, their dreams--all the while lending them an empathetic ear.

I would then give them the dollar, and ask them to do the same for someone else. I would do this 1,000,000 times.

(Okay, so a Kleenex commercial coupled with "Pay It Forward." So what? I'm unoriginal. It's still a good idea.)

Education, infrastucture, medical needs, there are many people without these things and watch people die every day. A lot of them are children. No child should have to watch their sibling, mother or father die simply for the basic needs of life. I'm sure it won't happen in a day, a year or even within my life span, but if we start NOW we can all make a difference.

I would just put it away for a rainy day.
No money in the world is gonna make any difference anyway.

I think I would go to the Salvation Army, find the down and out and try to help them get back into living. There are so many people out there with nothing and don't know how to overcome it. There would be provisions that they must help also and then do the same for someone else. After a little while this could catch on and completely do away with this low life some are living. God bless us all.

I would buy land with it and then give the land to The Nature Conservancy to protect our open spaces.

Throw a giant party - invite all the politicians and a lot of just common people. Make it mandatory for the politicians to tell the truth if they wanted another drink.

It would be fun to randomly mail $500 or so, in cash, to people. I would include a note saying that they can spend no more than $250 on themself, the rest has to be spent to do good for someone else.

A few years ago I googled some random names from places far away, sent them a few dollars with a note saying that I would like a picture postcard from their town. Most I never heard from but a few people sent postcards. Maybe I'll do it again.
