If you were given to much change..would you say something..or would you keep it?

I give it back, it's happened a lot of times to me and I'm always honest, probably why I'm always poor. I once banked several hundred dollars in cash, the bank cashier counted each $50 as $100, so she wrote the deposit down as double what it should have been. I could have just walked out, no one would have known except me, but my conscience wouldn't let me, I told her and she fixed it up. Even if I'm given 20cents too much change, I say something. I can sleep at night and I can hold my head up in public, regardless of how I look or seem to others, I know that I'm a good person and probably a better person than those who judge me for petty things like my appearance or lack of wealth. I curse my conscience and honesty at times, because I could be so much better off if I didn't have it.

If I was aware I'd give it back. I usually make a rough guesstimate instead of counting every penny. My bad.

Usually if I am so spaced out that I wouldn't even notice, but if I did notice... I don't know, I'd probably keep it unless I really really needed it. (by that I mean actual need not an I-crave-some-more-ice-cream need.)

It's not mine, so I would say something and give it back. Always do the right thing!

I kinda just see it as a bonus! Mind you I guess I don't notice until I go to put the money in my purse. If I noticed straight away as they were giving it to me I don't know what my automatic reaction would be. More often than not I am undercharged rather than being given back surplus change and I never ever say anything when this happens. It's just lucky!

I probably wouldn't even notice... nor would I notice if I didn't get enough back.

I usually just stuff it in my wallet without counting it.

Of course I would give it back. This is the ultimate test of a person's honest. You can tell if a person has integrity at their core by such actions as this.

It would depend on why she gave ne to much change. I mean I mean if she just accidently for whatever reason gave me the wrong change, then I yes I would give it back, and have many times.

but If they are, just not paying attention, seeming like they could care less that you are standing there, or are to busy chatting with someone else, or what be, damn the bad luck, Im keeping it, and next time maybe they will pay more attention to what they are doing instead of whats going on with their gossip circle.

I am given to much change....and I must admit I get desperate sometimes....but know I must play my own part without being a crybaby!
