ABSOLUTELY!! Pain is your body's way of saying that something isn't right. Do you know how many people would have had TREATABLE cancer or other medical conditions, but because they ignored pain and symptoms it became untreatable? Not saying this to scare you (maybe I am just a little) but get off the computer and get yourself to a physician!

I'd wait 2-3 days to see if it got better or worse. Seems like most things will resolve themselves by then, if they are going to. Otherwise,GO and still apply for the card- it MAY be retroactive.

If you in unbearable pain it is important to go to the Doctor even if you do not have insurance. Many medical facilities will assist you with payment or treat you no matter without a fee depending on your situation and how emergent your situtation is. Go to the Doc and soon if this is the case. Waiting may only cost you more in the end.

Going to the ER, is the first thing. Your life must always be top priority even if the doctor is going to turn to you and say " you'll be fine, it's nothing but gas..go drink some ginger ale "

Most states offer free insurance like MA, so insurance should never be a reason not to go to any ER. It's your human right to be seen when you go to the ER with or without insurance.

I waited until "the Meg" finally took me to the ER.

I am glad she did. I was so messed up my kidneys decided to go on vacation.

Go to the hospital when you need to. Period.

Don't wait.....go to the Dr. The sooner the better trust me. I have learned one thing and that is pain....anywhere on your body is nothing to play around with. Waiting can cost you more in the long run, in some cases it can cost you your life.
