Well, I think it's a little harsh to be locked in a room for 2 days ( with a exception for going to the bathroom) but getting drunk or doing it over and over till you can't stop is worst cause it could take months to get off of it (maybe more) so in comparision would you rather months of trying to get off of drinking ( if it happened) or 2 days in your room????

I think she judged you too harshly, like you could have any sort of accident in that room and she would only notice when she checked in to let you go for a pee break ,-,

I'm with your mom. Clearly she chose the right punishment because it's actually bothering you. Now if only you could manage to make yourself feel bad for having betrayed your mom's trust, there might be a chance for you.

i'm going to agree with your mother too. learn some respect and don't ever talk to her like that again! she's done the right thing by sticking to her rules. you however got let off and given the benefit of the doubt and STILL acted like a spoiled brat and then swore at her. i feel sorry for your mother. you're not getting any compassion here.

Yes, your mother was right. The only ones who are going to agree with you will be others of your own age most likely. Just accept it and learn from it.
