The first helpful thing I'd do is ask some questions, and discuss your issues to determine if that indeed is the correct diagnosis.

I'd try to determine if that is a fairly accurate diagnosis. If so, then I guess I'd try to get to the core of WHY you have it and work from there.

I'd ask you what you actually wanted in therapy. What exactly brought you there and why you think you need my help. We could figure it out from there.
