ok so it can hurt to be vulnerable ,to love someone,but it hurts more not to. Love is not a tap you can turn on and off at will..just enjoy every moment and don't expect..just love .as the song says 'love lifts us up where we belong'..thats what my heart would and is saying

you are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo right, but I think some people do think it can be turned on and off at will :(. Yup, expectations get you in a whole heap of emotional turmoil, that's for sure. Have no great expectations, suffer no great disappointments. Thanks for your wisdom.

Did not think my exhusband would be like that either. 12 years of marriage meant nothing to him. Hurts to much to do that again.
