If you're invited to a costume party, but you don't get into dressing up in costume, should you still go?

Pull your t-shirt over your head, poke a couple of eye-holes in it, and go as a ghost.

Get identical white teeshirts for you and your date. Label one "Peter" and one "Pumpkin" You'll be the hit of they party.
(Might not be good if this is at a church or something similar.)Like (1)

yes of course you should go. You shouldn't have to dress up if you don't want to.
If it is not a themed party could you just use some of your clothes such as pyjamas and go as wee willie winky?....or use some old clothes and go as a tramp?
or just go as you and if asked why you didn't get dressed up just say you have and you have come as a clone of yourself.Like (1)
