My wife and I were a playoff game in 2009 against the Angels and the Yankees. That year both teams were chalked full of great pla<x>yers. On another note I knew an old lady, really old she just died at 95 like a year ago. She told stories of how she grew up in Brooklyn in the early 1900's and would regularly go to see the dodgers and Yankees play. I could only imagine what that was like. She said she went to multiple games a week year after year. Back then they didn't take your first born child to pay for a seat. You just came and went...good old days.
Four come to mind between Shea & Yankess Stadiums: Hank Aaron; Jim Palmer; Frank Robinson; Brooks Robinson.
