I've answered this before, but I dont mind answering it again. It makes me appear to be very cool, and isnt that what life is all about?
In August of 1969 I hitch hiked with a friend, from Boston to a little town in upstate NY named Bethel to be a part of Woodstock. I saw most of these people perform

Richie Havens
Country Joe McDonald
John B. Sebastian
Incredible String Band
Sweetwater
Bert Sommer
Tim Hardin
Ravi Shankar
Melanie
Arlo Guthrie
Joan Baez
Quill
Keef Hartly
Santana
Canned Heat
Mountain
Janis Joplin
Sly & The Family Stone
Grateful Dead
Creedence Clearwater Revival
The Who
Jefferson Airplane
Joe Cocker
Country Joe & The Fish
Ten Years After
The Band
Blood Sweet And Tears
Johnny Winter
It was 3 days of peace, love and music - or was that sex, drugs and rock and roll? I t was rainy and muddy and dreary and miserable and I had the time of my 19 year old life!

"It makes me appear to be very cool, and isnt that what life is all about?" Sir, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about you. Be yourself. :-) To me, you're awesome! You were there! At the original Woodstock! You got to see some true music legends in their prime. You even got to see a MAJOR hero of mine. Mr. Jimi Hendrix! You got to see him live! An opportunity people my age & younger will never have. :-(

I know, I was only kidding. It was quite an experience - one that I'll never forget and it help shaped my life.Hendrix was a true tragic genius! I got to see Janis Joplin before she died, too. Thank you HiPpIeSaMuRaI

Good for you! (and,'you win!') I was 14, in NYC, jealously reading stories about it in the paper as I collected my newspaper delivery $$. and wishing I was there. My older brother went, but I'm not sure he actually 'got there' !?
Last year his wife posted his tix on FB. It sounds like you got there and were close enough to the stage to maybe even see. Yeah, Baby. I recently watched the movie again, I think I saw you!

Your brother probably was there. I think I saw him - long hair and stoned out, right 😊

I still have my tickets because the fence and gate were torn down when I got there, so just because his tickets were on Facebook doesn't mean he wasn't there.

Stones in London. I've seen them many times in the US but I wanted to see them in England. Best seats ever!
