I go on trips all the time without vaccines. In my opinion it isn't healthy, but others would disagree and believe that they are great preventative measures. I have been safe and have come back healthy each and everytime.. just avoid drinking tap water and ice (which means slushies). However if you want to pay the price to get the shots... you will need to get them well in advance... they work best I think 3 months+ in advance. Research Twin Rix -- it is one of the most popular travel vaccines on the market.
