HELL NO.........27? you're just a baby!! lol....
You must always live your life the way YOU want to live it!!!!!!
Just make sure you have a financial 'cushion' to tide you over as you make the change....
Don't hesitate.........I changed my career; went from office worker/word processing, which I really enjoyed, then got my cosmetology license and got into teaching makeup and skincare....
DO IT you will never regret it!!
always remember this: (one of my personal philosophies!!)
............No matter what you do in this life & this world, someone, somewhere, will criticize you for it......therefore, this means that you should live your life the best way for YOU and no one else!!".
I have lived by this since i was in my 20's and am now 70, and have no regrets!!!
if your family is in shock, so be it...they are entitled to their feelings and they obviously care about you, which is a wonderful thing...BUT as I said, we cannot live our lives by others' expectations of us!! so GO TO IT!!
AND..if you need a little motivation now and then, just let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can also email me privately (are we allowed to do this on EP?) at BG43214@YAHOO.COM
look forward to hearing from you if you need to 'talk'!!!
Very inspiring thought~~ i really love it!
I left a 45K career at the age of 39. to work part time... and have a MUCH better Quality of Life..... Good luck to you.
Not too old at all, unless you're planning a new career as a child star.
i m 29 old and i complete my graduation a year ago know i thinking for doing a job but if 27 you are old for change a job then i m too old for any job i think
no your far too young
What???? You're never too old.
At 27, I guess not but as a beginner in the new career, you have to compete with those who already having 5/6 years experience ahead of you!
At 27 you have 40 years of work ahead of you so you can change two or three times if you like. If you do not like your career then change, life is too short to be miserable at work
I'm 26 and hoping by 27 I can go back to school to finish my degree and finally *start* a career. Right now I'm a stay at home mother, but I need more from life. Definitely not too old! Good luck to you!
Nope one is NEVER to old to change, if that is what they decide the want to do.
It will change a hundred more times.
I've completely reinvented my career a few times, but then, I like the challenge and get bored when I'm not passionate. Gone are the days someone stays in a job for 50 years then retires. Do it.
No, of course not. There are those who set off on a career in their senior years and have little qualification of any sorts. I have a relation 32 years old who stopped working an assembly line job to go to University to get a BA in Social Services and is now en-route to her new career after not long since finishing. You are not too old; I assure you, and I'm sure everyone else will too :)
it does not matter how old you get your heart will always stay young >you dont have to be young to be able to change ...age does nt matter
Too old? Heck no. Make the change now or you will regret it later in life.
Go for it!....don't live to regret it when your older :)
I started in my current career/profession when I was 41. So no, I don't think you are too old. You probably have your head in a much better place today to make such decisions than you did in your early twenties.
Never to old.
your never too old for change.
