I understand how you feel. I consider myself pretty smart and I love science. Some of my family, on the other hand, hear me talk about evolution and believe I have abandoned god. At first it was annoying, but as time went on I found it funny. At least I know I am the smartest person in the room, no matter how low the bar is! Lol.

First, I wouldn't try to rush love. But if you are just looking to meet intellectually interesting guys, I don't see why the internet would be such a bad place. I'm not saying dating sites but forums and social communities like EP would be a good start.

Online? Seriously... there have to be people there who are naturally quite curious. I'd give the coffee shop a shot, look for someone studying or reading something interesting... shows they're not looking to keep their mind where it is...

Go to college and find a guy interested in the same subjects. Go to science type conventions or shows. Do what you love with others. Then you will find the right one for you.
