Im 5wks pregnant i wud b happy if he was. iv got a 18mth old already, which makes my choice even harder..HELP?

what does your husband think? if you're both committed to your family, you should be able to work this out. i have 2 kids (out of 5) who are 14 months apart. they are best friends. neither was planned, but i couldn't stand the guilt if i had aborted either one. i never considered it. my husband and i were shocked and worried, but we adore both of them. the love they brought to my home by far beats the anxiety of an unplanned pregnancy. i'm not anti abortion. no one can decide this but you. good luck, sweetie.

I LOVE kids and I've always wanted to adopt. .. Seriously, I'm sorry your going through this, but sometimes life's biggest suprises turn out to be our greateast joys. Yes, they will be close in age and a handfull for a while. But look at what your giving your 18month old... a lifelong friend. Someone who will remember your family and your love with him/ or her... a brother or a sister. That's priceless. It may seem like a lot now, but think of the future that always comes much to quickly... will it be a big deal having a 6 year old and an 8 year old? Not really, or a 10 year old and a 12 year old? See, it gets past the hard parts quickly... But if you make a "choice" you will always see an empty spot in your life, and feel the presence of that missing son/ daughter, that missing brother/sisiter, and eventually, that missing friend your child will turn into. Don't cheet yourself and your family out of all of that on the mistaken belief that this wont work out simply due to timing... ((((HUGS))) PM to chat more... Rated: +1Vote for this!

Can you handle having another baby and raising two young children by yourself? (because from the sounds of him, he may not be around too much longer) If so, have the baby. If not, then don't.
