There is nothing wrong with the way you love what's wrong is that people would judge you at all, don't accept words from biased sources it's the only advice I can give you. Just hope for the day when people realize that they don't have to be cruel to a person simply because they can't understand what it's like to walk in your shoes.

Yes I am male. And yes I have experienced this. I am also a Christian and so the experience for me too was difficult. Love unfortunately is hard to comprehend from anyone's viewpoint, because love has many facets. Honestly and truthfully, understand the depths of Agape Love first and then you can look into who you are attracted to. No your parents had no right to condemn you, especially by God's Word. "There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1), but there is conviction, which should be felt not burnt into you. The stance of the LGBT has always left me empty, hollow, and miserable... God has not. I pray you can get some clarity away from this website. Talk to a elder, youth leader, pray read your Bible. If you yourself are not a Christian, I would still recommend these things highly and if not find an older non-biased friend and adult. The only thing wrong with that is it is not righteous. Perhaps you should not worry about love (Eros, Storage, Philia and Thelema) and focus on Loce (Agape).

Since you already know people are going to judge you, you have to decide to not care what they think, or you could drive yourself crazy. You can't control the opinions of others. You can only control your reaction to it.
