Turn off the lights. Pull down the shades. Make it quiet. Go to bed. Lie there for 5 hours. Just lying there is about as good as 50% sleep, according to studies. And you will probably fall asleep out of boredom.

Have a bath or shower.

I don't know what part of the world you live in...but make everything as dark as you can.

Don't even have light emitting from your alarm clock (I turned mine away from me, and put a towel over it).

Think good thoughts....better yet...good memories...then try not to think anything.

Relax.....sleep.

Does this happen to you frequently? If so you have Insomnia for some reason. Talk to your doctor, Clonazepam works great if you need a medication recommendation. :)
