If you're feeling suicidal, it may be the one thing that could save you from hurting yourself further. It's good that there is a solicitor involved in the process. It's good to know your rights as an inpatient and which part of the mental health act they are detaining you under and what you can expect. Think of your time in there as an opportunity to rest and recover.
It might just help you and might not be as bad as you think.
you need to learn to play society's game. the reason you are being sectioned, and i had to look it up since its a uk term slightly diff than the us one, is that you have not learned what you can say to what people. you can be suicidal, or totally insane for that matter, but you will only be sectioned if you say the wrong thing to the wrong person or act improperly at the wrong time.
the right or wrong of what is happening is irrelevant. you can rant and rave if you were so inclined but it would not help your case. Learn to play the game that society forces upon everyone. In essence learn that you have to respond a specific way to certain people and behave a specific way around others whether you like it or not. or you run into what are dealing with now. Which is what rebelling, whether right or wrong, will always get you. A harder life.
you are being sectioned because you said the wrong thing to the wrong person. or did something that set off the alarms. to remain in charge of your own freedom you can not allow these things to be seen by those that can make these decisions. So if you think there is nothing wrong with you then you need to censor your words and actions around certain people. which allows you to remain yourself.
here is an example. i was busted for dui many years ago. in the evaluation thingy i answered the questions honestly. I was asked if i had ever done drugs and i admitted i had smoked pot a few times. and when asked what was the most times i had even drank in a week i said maybe for or 5 when some friends had come back into town. Now because of these actions the report was written that i do drugs and drink 4 to 5 times every week. because of this i had to go to narcotics anon and had to do way more counselling. being honest with officials is rarely good for you.
