A very common way to soothe the spirit. Good choice.

I watch a movie or show that won't make me any more sad, or play with my pets. Sometimes I'll draw or take a nap.

How do you make mixed fruit wine??

Well. I'm going to experiment with a prune and dry cranberry base and add a few of my frozen tart cherries to balance the flavor. You can find all sorts of wine recipes to try online if you want to try one.

To soothe the grayness I look out at the sky and think about the things I've gone through. I sit and think for a while, grab a coffee, and head down to the basement to play Minecraft or Fable 2. I just ignore the grayness and get caught up in something--or maybe I'll get out my leather and make a couple bookmarks. Usually works

    I design circuit boards.
I was feeling down yesterday, so I designed and built a microcontroller circuit to control Nikon DSLR cameras.

When I'm really down, I go take a good hot shower, shave, put on aftershave, get dressed like I am actually going somewhere, go have a cup of coffee, or a somthing nice to drink, and then I find something I want to do that day, that I've been wanting to do, and I just go ahead and I do it, I shut everyone out that is giving me a hard time, I take time to be myself and worry about myself for a change, it helps me to relax and figure out why I am feeling down and it helps me move forward and get out of the rut that is making me feel so down.

Everyone is different, this is just what helps me feel better.
