You can only hold onto hope for so long. I felt like I was inflicting pain intentionally on myself because I knew in reality he was never coming back. I still love him but I need to do what's healthy for me.

Date a married man. Hint hint. Ya know ya want to. Lol. I know I'm full of myself. It's hard to keep my hands from touching that perfect body of yours everytime I see you. I know you would hit me if I tried.

Concentrate on making yourself happy, and no one else. Discover who you are without this person on your mind all the time.

As I was told when I lost my first girl friend: "There are more fish in the sea...just cast you bait & catch another one!!!". Pull it all together...hold your head up...and find a better one this time!!!

Get to know yourself without a partner for a while.

it's ok though, right? You don't have to be in a relationship to feel good. That is a common misconception. I mean I haven't been in one for years, but I am enjoying life. Being single actually has some advantages if you look for them. I once read that you should do the things you love to do, even if you have to do them alone. Don't wait around for the perfect partner to live your life. And when you do meet someone, you'll be appealing to them if you share common interests and can share stories and experiences that you are having.

I've had plenty of time for myself. Spent the last 6 months alone and depressed.
