The best way I find is to do this:
get a bag, any bag with no holes in. Turn all lights off, TV, everything, so there is no distractions around you at all. If it's daytime, close your eyes. Place the bag over your nose and mouth and take about 6 to 8 deep breaths in and out into the bag.
Then, I usually just keep doing the deep breaths without the bag, hold your breath in a little before expelling through your nose. Think about laying on a sunbed in the garden or something.
That's what works with meLike (1)

I have bee there myself. This is what I know from my own experience and those of others.
Some depends on whether you have experienced them before or not. I am guessing not. This is okay. These things pass, but they are not fun. You must remind yourself of that.
Second, if it gets really bad, you should get medical help immediately.
Third, on Monday, call your doctor and go in. Therapy and medications are much better now than ever before. Depending on what triggers your problem, it could be that very little of either will go a long way toward helping you anticipate and deal well with anxiety attacks.Like (1)

I don't know because I've never had one. But I have felt constant anxiety for years at times.

you have to positive talk, and breath deeply if you don't have any meds.

Deep breaths, cross your legs, close your eyes and hum a soothing song (classical music works best) :)
