Just keep doing them every day a few times a day so you can build speed and endurance. Good Luck...I completely understand. I went for the max myself when I was still in...and suceeded!

Be carefull doing ALOT of pushups at one time, good way to blow a rotator cuff!Big Arnold hardly ever did more than 25 at a time..I can do about a 100 at a time but dont do it anymore because it starts hurting my shoulder,ALOT!
i can only do one and i will curse, spit, and fuss trying to lift my upper body up. so good luck to you. you can do it!!!
