I think you are suffering from low self esteem.Its in your mind,get rid of it otherwise you may ruin the relationship in the process.Love yourself for what you are,and see the change in peoples opinions about you.All the best!

One of the golden rules of life - never compare yourself with others.

It will drive you insane. Plus people that mean the most to you love you for who you are. Your boyfriend is with you and loves you.

I do know what you mean by this, i am always like that about my sister, everyone likes her better than me, she is a better person than me, she has a secure life more than i do. The list goes on and on. But we are who we are and we have to accept that.

I fell into this trap myself.

It's not a good idea to define ourselves by other people's successes and popularity. What's good for one person is not necessarily good for another.

You are your own person, complete with your own experiences, goals, desires, and personality. You have your own unique road that leads to success and happiness. Some people reach the end of that road faster than others, but if you keep traveling, you'll find your success in no time.

true! this helped me.- "One of the golden rules of life - never compare yourself with others." before, i am competing and comparing myself mentally with other people. And it hurts my pride, and makes me arrogant, also stupid. so let's not compare ourselves. Live our own i guess :)
