Im left handed,what do you think of the stigmas attached and which are you?

I like being left-handed -- it makes me unique, especially because I'm female -- less than 1% of the population is left-handed and female.

And since I like being different, so I don't care so much if there are stigmas. They are all ridiculous anyway.

burstin2go	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 7:49AM I have one son who is left-handed; my mum was when she was a girl but in the '40s they trained you to be right-handed. She can write just as well with both! No stigmas at all as far as I can tell - my son is well-adjusted and never complained. I'm left-footed, not much of a disadvantage as I hated football at school anyway! Rated: +1Vote for this!

President Obama is left-handed, President Clinton is left handed, the first President Bush is left-handed, and President Reagan was left-handed. If the American people elected recently this many left-handers president (they make up only 10 percent of the population as a whole), you cannot really claim a stigma any more.
