I'm looking for advice on Menopause/Premenopause... I'm showing a lot of the symptoms..

I'm concerned because I'm a bit young to start Menopause/premenopause. I'm about to turn 26. I'm having hot flashes almost all day through out the day. when I'm not having hot flashes i'm moody and crampy. I considered that yes it may be PMS but these symptoms are happening outside of my period. I've searched all over the web for information even took a few symptom quizes and all signs are pointing to Premenopause. Any one with advice and how to stop these ****** hot flashes and other symptoms PLEASE respond.. it's getting near unbearable.

I bought the LadyCare magnet thing you attach to your knickers out of sheer desperation thinking it was just too good to be true....The flashes eased and have now stopped after wearing it for 4 days!!! check it out..LadyCare is the name of it, there are testimonials all over the place..I'm also sleeping like a baby no more night sweats...unbelievable relief so far

Hormone imbalances can happen at any point and aren't necessarily a sign of perimenopaus. I've had severe hot flashes for the past 20 years, mood swings when I could easily have ripped someone apart, headaches the week before, the week of, and the week after .. not to mention 5-10 pounds of water weight. A long time ago, my doc, who was far from being a pill pusher, put me on a continous cycle of birth control pills just to level out my hormones, and they worked perfectly. I'm not suggesting you should go on the pill, I'm just sharing what I went through in case it helps you. Don't be alarmed, keep a level head and be confident that you and your doctor(s) will find the solution. Message me if you need a Big Sis. I have 2 on here already, and we make a great family and support system when we need each other.

I have Morena (an IUC) that lasts for 5 years (i've had it for almost 3) it releases hormones just like the pill. also its more effective against cramps and other pms symptoms which were pretty much dormant until the last period and this one. and other symptoms that are new which is where my concern came from. thank you for the advice!!

I think this is a good place to start, Dear:

    http://www.webmd.com/menopause/default.htm

and then yes, make an appointment with your Primary Care provider and then get a referral to address your specific concerns.

If your having these symptoms, don't ignore them and find a physician who will listen to you. I have had Drs. tell me nothing was wrong and I was to young too. Come to find out mine is thyroid related. Check it out. Even if your numbers are ok, you could still suffer from hasimottos. Check out more on this sight and look into yourself. It might not be that, but maybe not too. Your symptoms are telling you something. Seriously, don't give up until you can figure out what your body is telling you.
