    Roberta, I made this pumpkin cake recipe two years ago to take to my sisters for Thanksgiving dinner and it turned out great.

    Nothing but nothing beats pumpkin pie. I skip the ginger and opt for the nutmeg (tastes better to me). Of course the truer secret to pumpkin pie is the crust. Made from scratch and use (gasp!) LARD. If you're going to do it, do it right!

    I made a pumkin pie last year, probably the nicest pie I've ever made. Brits don't do thanksgiving so I made it for halloween and everyone loved it :o)

    Cut into chunks, roast in rapeseed oil until caramelised, then crumble goat's cheese over just before serving.

    I make a mean pumpkin and potato soup...very rich, perfect for autumn, with a little milk, onions, hot pepper and bacon bits......MMMMMMMM
