My mom used to cook what she called footballs. big loves of bread on a cookie sheet. they worked out really well and you can make several small "footballs, hallow them out and put chilli in them. A super bowl favorite in my family. idk about the muffin tin and crock pot though

they're more roundish, really, the first one she made was just the size of a foot ball so that's what we called them.

Do you have aluminum foil? You can make a bread mold from aluminum foil. Cut off a ***** of foil a little longer than you want to loaf. Fold the foil in half lengthwise. Then fold each half in half again lengthwise. Finally, fold each end over itself a couple of times to create what looks like a canoe and open it up. After the first rising of the bread, punch it down, knead it, roll it into the length you want and put it in the foild canoe. Allow it to complete its second rise per the recipe, then cook per the recipe.

I doubt it, but the cookie sheet sounds like your best bet!

My wife says form it into a loaf and bake it on the cookie sheet and, voila, "artisan" bread

You could also roll it into thick strands and braid it and cook it that way. Forget what it's called
