I'm nervous about my interview for McDonald's today. Any suggestions?
I'm nervous about my interview for McDonals today. I'm an 18 year old sophmore in college. I volunteer a lot, I'm a hard worker and people love me because of my personality. But I get really nervous the first time I meet someone or when I'm interrogated. Lol I've already been offered a job at the driving school I attended and I;m taking it. But I never had to do an interview he automatically just asked me to work for him. I know the questions I will be asked, but I'm nervous I'll freak out and forget what to say. Because I overthink a lot...Haha Help?

I wouldn't worry. It's McDonald's not a Fortune 500 company. Be respectful, don't slouch when you sit, be attentive, relate every question to something you've done that makes you good for the job. Speak clearly. Wear a dress/suit depending on your gender..or just a suit for either gender may be more appropriate unless you have a really nice dress.

I can say from personal experience, dressing and looking nice sets you apart from the start. You'd be shocked how many people don't dress up for interviews.Like (1)

Be honest, be respectful, and relax. It's just a conversation.

If you get an interview at a fast food joint, your almost guarenteed the job, as long as you don't seriously mess up.
Your thinking too much into it. Theres people that work at McD's that don't even speak ENGLISH and they got hired somehow.
Just remember....it's McDonalds. Not NASA, Not Microsoft, and not the end of the world. You'll be fine.
