Before you go, speak to a doctor and have them on board about your stress levels as they will be able to help if they get to high. Also look into what support groups are in the college that you are going to as there is always something that can help. If you do find the stress getting to you,don't let time pass and get on top of it in one way or another. Make sure you are organised and try to look at your course in an objective manner and make sure you are scheduling yourself well so you don't get into trouble time wise getting your work done. Try to find friends in the group or class you are in as if you don't understand something or cannot attend a class it is good to be able to get notes from someone else. I have a high achiever of a daughter doing a double degree at uni and so have had to be there for her so have a little bit of an idea of how things go

Yes. You won't be taking only art classes and even some art classes can be stressful.

Well. It's all relative. Compared to med school it's a walk in the park. Compared to engineering school it's a piece of cake. It's all relative.

Yes. Be prepared to work your a$$ off. Still it will be a great experience - you should learn how to manage stress at the same time - very important.
