Chatting on EP is a good start, even if you don't feel like contributing it's good to browse around the site. There are some really great people who all have a story, experience or something funny or enlightening to share!
It really is an experience everytime you feel like being on line, but with a difference, you have choices and ways to be as much a part of this as it suits you!
And the chance to talk and enjoy yourself with different and like minded people of all walks of life!

Find constructive things to do, like talking to other people, cleaning up, or just doing things that you like.

Social networking site are easy ways to meet or catch up with old or new friends that are local. Join a gym group or extra curricular activity to meet other ppl.

If in the US, go join up with some crazy militia group and plan the takeover of the US. As crazy as those people are, you should have lots to laugh about anyway.

Go out somewhere where you can meet new people. What about college or your local library? There are plenty of clubs out there too.
