Your laziness may pay off. Nowadays, many college educations leave people in debt and unable to get a job. Are you really, really sure that you want to go to college? There are so many excellent jobs that need people that do not require a college education. Medical techicians (xray, scans, lab workers, phlebotomists) do very well, are in demand and the demand for them is expected to increase as baby boomers age. Maybe your instincts are telling you that college could be a waste of time and money.
Start filling out those forms today in case you want to go. The worst that can happen is that you will have to attend the next semester instead of the one you'd planned to attend. And you can take the extra time to examine other career possibilities not requiring college.

You can still fill out your financial aid papers. But most financial aid opportunities have been given out and deadlines pasted. The reason there is a recommended date is bc it does go fast. So honestly you will not get the most possible aid bc of it being so late.
