The close friends are probably hanging around to see what you are up to and to report back to your ex. If you don't want their company, I would politely tell them the breakup with your ex is painful enough, and they are too much of a reminder of that split, so when you said goodbye to the ex, you also said goodbye to them. If you want their company, then don't say anything to them that you wouldn't want your ex to hear about, because they will tell him everything.

Yes I agree, I wonder how do my ex feel though that his friends are so cool me because me and him talk time to time.. but I'm closer with his friends *

Perhaps it bothers your ex a little, but you are not bound to him, you can have whatever friends you want. He might even feel some jealously that his friends are sharing time with you, but that's something he's going to have to deal with. Maybe you're both mature enough that you can handle the situation with humility and not hostility. You do come across as a very strong and confident person.

Maybe his close friends want to expeience what he told them he did. You might be in for a HARD time.
