    Of course not!
I'm pretty sure our world is perched on the back of a turtle.

cant it? According to some theories our Universe is a bubble attached to a larger bubble. A drop of water has all kinds of stuff in it. Go smaller it is filled with atoms. Go smaller it is filled with sub-atomic particles. Who is to say that well beyond our ability to detect there isn't a universe in that drop of water and in that universe is a planet? And what if that drop of water was on a plant?

Once upon a time the world was flat, light beams came from peoples eyes, the sun circled the Earth, and the moon was the eye of God.
