In my country now was an Earthquake,I can't stop from being scary?

What should I do...i'm So freaked...It was so scary....omg!

well being from California where earthquakes roam free I can share a little with you. One it is over the presure in that fault line is released it will take many many years to build again if ever. You may have aftershocks but they are usally smaller and it is just the earth setteling back down. Unfortunately many places around the world are not built to withstand an earthquake so much more damage is done. Living outside a large city when a earthquake comes is always good, less debris. In California they wait till it is over and safe to go home and ***** the damages save what they can and start the rebuild all over again. Many people here do not even react when a earthquake hits unless it is 5-6 on the rictor scale. I once watched the ground outside my home move in waves like water, while my car moved from on part of my lawn to the other without the wheels turning. We just thought it was what is was. If you have enough of anything you get use to it. Your nerves will settle just focus on getting your normal life back together, it is the best therapy.

Wish I could answer that one for you. We went through a tornado not too long ago. My children and I were extremely scared. Unless you are under ground or can afford a storm shelter you are pretty much at the mercy of mother nature. My son couln't sleep for days. Over time we calmed down though and have talked about ways to be prepared to protect ourselves in future. It seems to have helped us overcome our fear, but not our respect for Mother Nature.
