It is definitely making our world less of a place. There is more life to be lived sitting on the front porch listening to the grass grow than you will ever find on a computer. This is just some nerd's greed scheme.
If you replace all human relationships with technological interaction, then yes, it is a problem.
yep, Look at smartphones. What happens when people stand in line for longer than fifteen seconds? Out come the phones......God forbid someone be bored for ten minutes....
For the most part it probably isn't making things better.
