Resolved Question

In the law of physics, there is no such thing as darkness, it is the absence of light, right?

So this means that God did not create evil, it's the people whose light is absent (lack of God's love in their heart) that have caused all the suffering in the world >

Freeed, Maybe I did not word it well. I did not mention anything about the bible, I have read many questions saying "If god is so loving, then why did he cause so much suffering in the worldI did not say darkness is evil, Cold does not exist, it is the absence of heat, darkness does not exist, it is the absence of light and evil does not exist, it is the same as darkness and cold. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart
Sleepless: Nope, atheists are not the cause of all the sufferings in the world, many religious people also do not have God's love present in their heart. They use religion for their own selfish needs.

There is no real scientific use (or definition of) cold. It is often viewed as the absence of heat.

My law of physics says that there is no such thing as light, it is the absence of darkness.

Light bulbs don't emit light, they suck the dark out of the room. Want proof? Ever notice how when a light bulb doesn't work anymore it is darker than a new one.

I like the type of reasoning that attributes physics laws with God .... it is interesting. Or maybe metaphysical physics!

I don't believe in a god. Doesn't mean I don't have or don't emanate any light, because I do. I need no belief to be a good person. Perhaps other merely allow there light to be stifled.

If we are talking Biblically, I don't recall that God ever actually "caused" suffering, he just allowed it.

Where do you connect a physical "law" with a Biblical one? Since when is darkness evil? BTW, most of the matter AND energy in the Universe is thought to be dark matter, which would put God in BIG trouble according to you. If God created everything including dark matter and it is evil, what would that say about God???

So by that logic atheism would be evil, and atheists would be the reason for all the atrocities in the world.. Can't have Gods love in your heart if you don't believe he exists right?

That theory needs refining, I think.

You say cold does not exist, it is the absence of heat....one could say heat does not exist, it is merely the absence of cold. Same with darkness and light...
Is having the love of God in your heart/not having the love of God in your heart a choice, or does God choose in whom he will instill this love? The former would involve free will, given to us by God (and therefore created), the latter would mean God created beings devoid of free will (and therefore lacking the love of God in their hearts making them evil) What I am saying is that if God is the Creator of all things, then God is the creator of all things. By saying God did not create evil, are you saying something (evil) came into existence against God's will? If it did, then God, who is by definition omnipotent, cannot be God.
