In trouble with my marriage?

I am married to an alchohoic whosays she is maic depresive and is very controlling. She has strong mood swings and will not go to any type of counseling or Doctor. What can I do?????????

See exactly what is the common problem and try to reach mutual solution.
Solve common problems first, and personal problems later.
If each person sees only the problems of the other, then the problems will become more serious.

She probably won't quit until some horrible life-changing consequences take place. And even then she will truly have to want to quit.

Alanon is a great place to start. You can not help her. She needs to see a doctor. You need to care for you and learn how to not enable her. Call alanon and go to a meeting. They do understand. She needs counselling and probably meds. Alcohol is a depressant and is just making her worse. An intervention might help, but you need to take care of you and make sure your feeling stable and strong. Good luck.
