    Smarter, non-religious women with more intelligence avoid male dominance and have lower birth rates.

    Intelligience and education- decreases birth rate perhaps due to people getting educated and working instead of childbirthing
    Superstition/religion - If your taught your purpose is to have more children you will have more children.
    male dominance - can't say but I think this increases childbirth possibly because men don't have to deal with it.
