How much, out of that million,will you end up with? Here in Australia, We do not pay taxes on prizes or prize money!

If the winning is from my home state lottery, it is state tax free. Federal tax is still owed, 30% I think.

Yeah we may not pay tax on it, but if you invest it, you lose like half the interest to tax.

Well that changes my answer; I was sure we paid taxes on lottery ... still if I won the lotto I'd lose my Centre Link payments
