Partly the media is to blame. Media intrudes peoples minds in the form of TRP ratings.

I was 22 and in college then. Agreed. The '90s were pretty stable economically, it was a good time to be a young adult.

Mark when the internet became widesread.
That's when the blessing and curse came.

Knew every family in an area before it, know a couple now. Society moved online and in a way, that blows.

On the surface, people seem happy with all the technology that's available to them. But scratch the surface and society is anything but happy. People are simmering, angry and more irrational-headed than anytime in recent history. The constant rising cost of living combined with an "anything goes" society, where our young have been told for over 40 years that they deserve everything, has produced a schizophrenic, unstable society. A sound economy, able to provide steady work to the majority of people, would help things, but who knows for how much longer our economy will continue to underperform?

20 years ago I was in kindergarten. It was a happy society. Although they did seem to push "sharing" heavily. smh. socialists. thanks a lot Obama.
