Infections and other troubles: how seerious?

Well here's the thing - rim jobs can be very, very erotic to both men and woman but I need to know my risk of infection, especially HIV. If my partner, claiming to be HIV and other STD free, takes a shower does that mean they are OK to rim? I am so, so turned on by buns, and then that special, special place between them ...
Can anyone help?

Ok, well I'm not a doctor, but I would say there is still a risk no matter what. Especially if he/she has hemmoroids or other problems that could cause anal bleeding. Even if you can't see the blood, it doesn't mean it isnt there. There can be invisible traces of blood on the anal area even after showering. And it is possible to come into contact with other bodily fluids as well. And just because someone claims to be HIV/STD free doesn't make it true. I know you probably won't or you would have already, but go with your partner to get tested. It just isn't worth the risk, trust me.

Lovesfun21 is right. And a shower does not negate any fluid or blood borne germs. Use protection. If you're in a long-term relationship, then go get tested together.
