Yes, noticing. But you can relax. Unless we get zapped by some completely unexpected passing object, the end is more than a billion years away. Your sweet dreams and worries will be long gone by then.

My goodness, I've been so busy I didn't even notice! Will I need an invitation? What should I wear? Do I bring a gift, or a covered dish meal? May I bring a friend?

The world isn't immortal. We are not immortal. Regardless to what your beliefs are, I personally believe that everyone and everything dies, and *possibly* comes back several times. December 21st, 2012 is not THE END, the undoing of man. The Mayans predicted a CHANGE in mankind. We are becoming ENLIGHTENED, our mental DNA is changing. Things always have to become horrible before they can get better, and that's what we are seeing NOW... all the wars, Government officials from other countries dying, causing war, etc. It's all coming to a head, and it HAS to do so before the world can see where it went astray and therefore change for the better.
That's just what I believe. The world AS WE KNOW IT *is* ending, but the Earth isn't dying, mankind isn't going to just die off anytime soon, or anything doomsday like that. I look at it this way: In the Bible, many people had to overcome hardships due to religion, race, lifestyle, etc., but then something miraculous would happen afterward to reward them for pushing through it. Same thing is happening now, it's just that the world has LOST itself.

Christians have been preaching the end of the world for 2000 years, it's gotten a little old.

There is no such thing to notice. Frauds have been claiming the world is soon ending for thousands of years, and that will continue in the future.

I get so frustrated about that. It doesn't take a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Take this so called Arab Spring for example. If they can't see that this means the further radicalization of the middle east and a regional war and BIG problems for Israel, then THEY are more stupid than they seem to think WE are..
Everything ends, though. The world will end, the earth will be around a long time!

If the **** had hit the fan, then we would know about it by now.
But we are the mother of all destruction on this ball of rock.
I wouldn't blame it for being a little pissed off, would you?
And an on topic great read (the celestine prophecy)
